Speaking of technology...

OK, so I'm not. What I'm thinking is that some fresh air would be nice. Time to go out-of-doors. When's the last time you took a walk in the woods? Right. We live in New Jersey!!! It's not impossible though. There are some really beautiful spots right out the back door be they parks, the golf course (a good walk ruined?) or the woods behind your workplace. I have discovered just such a place right here where I work. It's not a huge intimidating woods. It is a small, beautiful place with an abundance of wildlife and bordered by a marsh, a busy road, factories and a neighborhood. This woods gives me the feeling I'm in the middle of nowhere. I have seen fox, rabbits, deer, hawks and all kinds of songbirds. In the summer, the variety of butterlies are numerous. When the temperatures rise in the summer, the woods feels cool and inviting and many times, I have taken my lunch there and enjoyed sitting on a fallen tree and listening to the sounds that Nature sings. So, just a suggestion here, lace up your sneakers and get outside! Your body and your mind will thank you.
